| 概要 | バイオマス分科会主催/ライフサイエンス技術部会・タスクフォース共催： デンマーク大使館との交流会・講演会のご案内 （受付は開始の３０分前、１４：００からです。） 講演 １４：３０～１７：００ （１）１４：３０～１５：５０ 〇 講師：デンマーク大使館（Royal Danish Embassy） 上席イノベーション・科学技術担当官 村上 有美 様 Investment Manager（投資担当官） 飯田 留美 様 上席商務官 エネルギー・環境担当 田中 いずみ 様 演題：「500万人ちょっとの小国デンマークで何故イノベーションが起きるのか？」 - EUでトップ3常連のその仕組み・事例・企業のデンマーク活用例 - EUの環境エネルギー中心都市デンマーク - 日本とデンマークが150年間に行ってきた科学技術交流 要旨： 資源が少ない、人件費が高い、高齢化社会など産業界にとって日本と多くの問題点を共有するデンマークは実はEUイノベーションランキングで例年トップ３に入る常連国です。人口約570万人の小国が、環境面を始め大胆な政策にチャレンジし、産学官・国際連携により上記の問題点をどのように解決しながら世界的な企業を生み出しているのか、その事例及び仕組みをライフサイエンス・環境エネルギー・デジタル化等様々な点からご紹介致します。 以下の内容を盛り込んで頂いたご講演と、Q&Aをして頂きます。 １）日本-デンマーク国交樹立150周年に関する事業、イベントのご紹介 ２）デンマーク及びＥＵにおける産学官及び産産連携の仕組みと状況 ３）デンマーク及びＥＵにおけるＪＡＣＩのような化学企業の（民間）業界団体の情報 ４）デンマークにおける公的研究所の情報及び、メディコンバレーのactivity、 technical capability、他 ５）デンマーク大使館における科学技術・市場開発に関する概要説明と、 JACIとの交流の可能性について ・バイオエコノミーの観点 ・再生エネルギーの関連、その他 １５：５０～１６：００ 休憩 （２）１６：００～１７：００ 〇 （逐次通訳あり） 講師： デンマーク・Evolva社 副社長 パスカル・ロンシャン様 Dr. Pascal Longchamp, Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer, Evolva Holding SA 演題：「21st Century Brewers for a sustainable society – unlocking access to rare and novel ingredients for the Food & Beverage, Flavor & Fragrance, Specialty Chemicals, Composite and Energy Industries with Evolva platform technologies.」 邦題：「サステイナブルな社会を実現する２１世紀の醸造家 －希少な食品原料・香料・スペシャリティケミカル、複合材料、エネルギーの製造を可能とするEvolvaのプラットフォーム技術－」（仮訳） 要旨： Recent advances in fermentation, metabolic engineering, genome editing, gene synthesis and sequencing technologies combined to powerful in-silico exploration of the genetic space have recently opened up new avenues to produce by fermentation rare, complex or novel molecules. Evolva has pioneered this exploration bringing to market four ingredients, namely Resveratrol, Nootkatone, Valencene and Vanillin, while working internally or with major industrial partners, such as BASF, IFF, L’Oréal, Cargill and some Japanese companies to develop new opportunities to bring to market. The range and diversity of collaboration fostered by Evolva exemplify well the reach and impact of these new technologies across multiple and different industries. Whether a molecule is too rare or its supply chain too complex, preventing its full exploitation on the market, or whether the molecule can be produced in a more sustainable way, sparing the environment from toxic chemicals, the technologies developed by Evolva respond to such demand in a cost effective way. Japan with its long tradition in fermentation stands in a most favored position to exploit these new technologies.
